When we first had the concept of starting a firm in the Ottawa area
in 1985, it was in response to the needs of seniors, to help them understand
income options for their retirement. Although there were many investment
advisors, insurance agents and bankers in the area, there was a real
lack of comprehensive retirement planning.
We started out small, two partners with one office assistant. Our aim
was to grow the company over time to become the premier firm in the National
Capital area focusing on retirement and financial planning . We held
information seminars in those early days and I am proud to say that many
of the participants became our clients and remain so today.
Craig & Taylor Associates has grown steadily, responding to the
needs of our clients and the demands of our growing and sophisticated
city. Our independence, combined with the strength of our process and
tailored solutions, allow us to build lifelong relationships with our
clients and to add value to their lives.
As our way of showing appreciation to our clients, Craig & Taylor
Associates is a proud partner and sponsor of many charities and non-profit
organizations. These include numerous fundraisers for cancer research
and support for Sandrine’s Gift – a national organ donor
awareness program, as well as local amateur hockey programs and local
amateur theatre.
Our focus has not changed since opening our business in 1985. We are
